Felari: Tales of the Moon Crystal
A cozy catfolk mobile MMORPG running on a hand-built engine that faithfully rebuilds the deep combat math of the classic 2000s online RPGs.

Felari is a warm, catfolk take on the classic online RPG — built end-to-end solo on an original engine that rebuilds the deep, pre-modern combat systems of the early-2000s MMORPGs from the ground up: the real damage, attack-speed, defense, and elemental math, re-derived by hand in pure, unit-tested C#. Its world runs entirely on live data — 1,004 monsters with their own drops and AI, 6,169 items, and 1,228 skills — all browsable in a custom offline database. Players collect 453 monster Sigils, socket them into gear for build-defining effects, and fill a living album that permanently grows their power. Characters are fully modular the way the classics did it: one body, swappable faces, hairstyles, and palettes. Every layer — the sprite pipeline, the world, the card metagame, the on-device Android build — was designed and wired by one person.
- Hand-tuned combat engine: classic-MMO combat math (damage, attack speed, defense, elements, races, sizes, status) rebuilt in pure, unit-tested C#
- A living world of 1,004 monsters, 6,169 items, and 1,228 skills — real stats, drops, and AI, fully data-driven
- Sigil card metagame: 453 collectible monster cards you socket, remove, and reuse — with classic 'broken' boss effects like magic immunity, +100% HP, and auto-revive
- Modular catfolk characters — one body, swappable faces/hair/colors — across a warp-linked world of retro-MMO cities and fields
- FelariDB: a custom offline browser for the entire 6,000+ item database, with search, filters, and cross-linked mobs/skills/cards
- Unity 6
- C#
- Android
- URP
- Python
- ComfyUI
The whole 6,169-item economy runs on faithfully rebuilt classic-MMO combat math — including a boss card that makes you flat-out immune to magic, straight out of the 2000s originals.
